Christmas' Gift Un-wRapped

Christmas' gift, all wRapped and ready to go!

There is something beautiful about a Christmas gift.

We carefully choose it, lovingly wrap it, and place it beneath the glow of twinkling lights. We tie ribbons around it, hide its contents beneath layers of paper, and wait with joyful anticipation for the moment when it will finally be opened.

Yet, over two thousand years ago, God gave the world a gift unlike any gift we had ever known. There was no glittering paper. No golden ribbon. No beautifully decorated tree.

Instead, there was a humble manger…a young mother…a faithful father…and a tiny child wrapped in swaddling clothes.

But within that little child was a gift beyond measure.
