Peanut Butter Jelly Time: Fruity Twist
Updated: Sep 1
Peanut butter and sliced fruit—without the jelly—is a quick, satisfying snack for almost any time of day. Peanut butter provides protein and healthy fats that help keep you feeling full, along with nutrients like vitamin E, magnesium, and potassium. Pair it with fruit such as apples, bananas, or pears, and you also get natural sweetness, fiber, vitamins, and minerals.
Try peanut butter with apple or banana slices, or switch things up with almond or cashew butter. A sprinkle of cinnamon can add a little extra flavor, too.

Best of all, there’s almost no preparation involved. Just slice your favorite fruit, grab a spoonful of peanut butter, and enjoy a simple snack that tastes good and keeps you satisfied—without the added sugars found in many processed snacks.
Ingredients:
Peanut butter, cashew butter, or other nut butter
Sliced strawberries, blueberries, and/or bananas
Firm multigrain bread
Directions:
Apply a light layer of peanut butter on each slice of bread.
Place fruit on one slice, then use the other slice to cover it.
ENJOY!
